Blog in Landinker
What is a blog post?
A blog post is editorial content that you write in markdown and then display within your landing pages.
Each post centralizes:
- Title
- Slug: identifier that appears in the URL (unique per group).
- Content in markdown.
- Excerpt: short summary for listings.
- Cover: header image.
- Tags: labels to group and filter.
- Status: draft or published.
Where are they written?
Posts are managed from the Blog section of the dashboard, with CRUD functionality just like products: listing, creation, and editing.
The editor has a markdown content field with a live preview, plus fields for tags, cover, excerpt, and status. The URL for each post is automatically generated from its title (see Blog on landings).
Slug, tags, and status
- Slug: identifies the post within the group. It is generated from the title and you can edit it (supports hyphens). It doesn't make the post display on its own: for that, a landing is required (see below).
- Tags: used to group posts and filter them in listings. The editor suggests tags you have already used in the group to keep them consistent.
- Status: only published posts appear on landing pages. Those in draft status remain hidden from the public.
How are they displayed?
A post is not published on its own at a URL: it is displayed inside a landing using the editor's blog components (just like products with their components).
