Forms
Landings can capture data from your visitors using the Form component (and email capture via the Newsletter component). Submissions are saved and can be viewed from the dashboard.
Capturing submissions
- Add a Form component to your landing and configure its fields.
- When a visitor fills it out and submits, the submission is saved and associated with that landing and group.
- The Newsletter component works the same way to capture just email addresses.
Submission destination
In the Form properties you choose where each submission goes:
- Save to dashboard (default): the submission is stored in the Forms section.
- Send to custom endpoint: toggle the switch and enter a URL (http/https). Submissions are sent via POST to your endpoint and are not saved in the dashboard — useful for integration with your own systems.
Viewing submissions
- Submissions are viewable in the dashboard, under the Forms section (alongside Metrics).
- You can review and delete them.
- Permission matches metrics: anyone who can view metrics can view forms (see Roles and permissions).
Email or webhook notifications
Whenever a submission arrives, the group can notify you: by email to Owners and/or via webhook to your own URL. Choose which events and channels under Group settings — see Notifications.
Anti-spam
As public-facing surfaces, submissions include abuse protections:
- Honeypot: a hidden trap field invisible to humans; if filled out, the submission is discarded (often filled by bots).
- Rate limiting: limits the number of submissions per IP within a time window to stop automated spam.
These protections are automatic: no configuration required.
