Multimedia

Multimedia

The Multimedia section (under Content) is your group's asset library: upload once and use those files wherever you need them.

Previously, using an image on a landing required pasting a URL of an image hosted elsewhere. That works, but relies on that external site keeping it online: if they remove or change the link, your landing is left with a broken image.

Uploading files

  • Using the Upload files button or by dragging them onto the grid.
  • You can upload multiple files at once. Each uploads independently: if one fails (too large or exceeds your storage limit), we let you know which one while the others proceed.
  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, and SVG.
  • Maximum file size: 4 MB.

You can also upload without coming here: on any image field (the landing editor, a post's cover, a product image) you can drag the file directly onto the field, or into the Choose from multimedia modal. It uploads to your library just like uploading from this screen, and is also applied to that field. There, uploads happen one at a time (the field holds a single image): if you drop several, the first is used. To upload multiple files at once, use this screen.

Available storage

Each plan includes storage capacity:

Plan Storage
Free Not included
Basic 250 MB
Pro 2 GB
Enterprise Unlimited

Above the grid you can see how much storage you are using. If a file won't fit, we let you know before uploading (no need to wait for it to finish to find out).

On the Free plan you can continue using external image URLs in components, as before.

Managing your uploads

Hovering over a file:

  • Copy URL: to paste into any image field.
  • Edit: change the name (to find it here) and the description, which serves as the image's alt text — read by screen readers and displayed if the image fails to load. Adding it improves accessibility and SEO.
  • View usage: lists the landings, layouts, products, and posts in your group that use that file. Helps you know what will be affected before modifying anything.
  • Delete: deletes the file. Before confirming, we inform you how many places are using it and what they are: if deleted, it will stop appearing there.

The search bar filters by name and description.

Who can use it

Owner, Editor, and landing, product, and blog editors can upload, edit, and delete. The Viewer can view the library but cannot modify it.
