Show blog on landings
As with products, blog content is displayed inside landings using components that are hydrated with the group's posts. In the editor, they are in the Blog category.
"Blog Post" component (detail)
Displays one post. You can choose it in two ways:
- Static: choose the post by its title from the list. Useful for a fixed landing (e.g. a featured post).
- Dynamic: on a landing with a path like
/blog/:nota, leave the post as{{NOTA}}. This way, each URL displays the corresponding post. It is the same mechanism as products.
How post URLs look
Each post has a URL with its identifier and title, like on Mercado Libre: /blog/6771a2f0c3e4b5a6d7e8f901-receta-de-pan-casero. The page finds the post by its identifier (the beginning part); the title is there so the address makes sense to humans and Google.
- Changing the title breaks nothing: links you've already shared still lead to the post.
- There is always a single official URL: if someone visits with an old title (or no title), the page redirects them to the URL with the current title.
- There is nothing to configure manually: the URL is generated automatically.
Component options: show/hide cover, author and date, and tags. Markdown content is rendered using the group's color palette.
"Blog Index" component (listing)
Displays a grid of published posts, with a tag filter.
- Tag filter: choose one or more tags to show only posts that have them. Empty = all.
- Columns, maximum items, and order (newest / oldest).
- Show/hide cover, excerpt, date, and tags on each card.
- Card link: set
/blog/{{CARD_BLOG_ID}}so each card leads to the detail of that post.{{CARD_BLOG_ID}}is automatically replaced with each post's URL (its identifier and title).
Typical workflow
- Write the posts in the Blog section, with their tags, and set them to Published status.
- Index landing (e.g. path
/blog): add the Blog Index component, filter by whatever tags you want, and use the link/blog/{{CARD_BLOG_ID}}on the cards. - Detail landing (path
/blog/:nota): add the Blog Post component with the post set to{{NOTA}}.
With that, your blog becomes navigable: the index lists and filters, and each card opens the detail of the post.
